Election materials

Materials for school-based elections will be mailed to each school chapter. UFT members interested in running for a school-based position (school chapter leader, delegate or paraprofessional representative) should notify their school's election committee chair.

For functional chapters, the Notice of Election tells you the positions to be filled, whether candidates can submit a statement plus information about nominating procedures, election timelines and deadlines, and membership requirements for candidates.

Nominating forms for most functional chapters were due at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 12. Nomination forms for the Retired Teachers Chapter were due at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16.
