Wellness Programs and Initiatives

The UFT, in its role as a leader of the Municipal Labor Committee unions and the city's health committee, worked with the mayor's Office of Labor Relations and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to launch WorkWell NYC, an initiative designed to support New York City employees in getting and staying healthy.

The programs include:

Flu vaccinations

Flu vaccinations are now offered at worksites across city agencies during the flu season.

Weight Watchers

NYC employees and retirees, along with employees' spouses and dependents, can receive discounted pricing at Weight Watchers.

Teladoc

Members covered under the EmblemHealth GHI-CBP plan can talk with a Teladoc doctor within minutes rather than days or hours.
