The New York City Department of Education released new social media guidelines that detail “recommended practices” for the use of social media both professionally and personally. The guidelines cover Facebook, Twitter and other forms of electronic communication through which users create online communities; they do not cover texting and cell phone use.
Planning by teachers is a critical element in the educution of our students. This planning provides a blueprint for such educational priorities as the implementation of curriculum, the development of long and short-term expectations for student learning, the integration of subject areas, monitoring of pupil progress and modifications of strategies and objectives based upon student performance and need.
Teacher's Choice participants use this form to inform their school principal of purchases made with Teacher's Choice funds. Once completed, attach all original receipts/invoices and submit to your school principal for review.
