Resolution to vote NO on all 2025 ballot proposals

The UFT Executive Board recommends to VOTE NO on all six ballot proposals in the 2025 General Election to protect our communities, preserve local democracy, and ensure that power remains where it belongs—with the people of New York City.

Resolution for "Hands Off Our Schools" campaign

The UFT will initiate coordination, collaboration, member-to-member education and dialogue, and other joint initiatives with AFT and NEA local and national bodies to defeat the attacks of the federal government on public education.

Resolution to support the RESPECT check legislation for paraprofessionals

The Delegate Assembly of the UFT votes to encourage members of all titles to sign the petition to support the Respect Check legislation, alert parent associations about how parents can show support, and hold a day of action on November 13th, 2025.

Resolution to support the NYCE PPO health care plan

The UFT Delegate Assembly voted in favor of the NYCE PPO plan and directed UFT President Michael Mulgrew to likewise vote in favor at the appointed Municipal Labor Committee meeting.

Resolution to endorse Zohran Mamdani for mayor in the November 2025 general election

Public school students and educators deserve a mayor who listens and responds to their concerns, and city workers deserve a mayor who prioritizes affordability and quality of life. Zohran Mamdani is the candidate who will best serve this city.
