UFT Dues for 2024 Taxes
Here are the union dues that UFT members paid in the 2024 calendar year.
Notice of Dues Changes
During the year ending Dec. 31, 2024, the City of New York and other employers deducted union dues for the UFT from those UFT members who were so designated. The amount deducted on your behalf and remitted to the UFT can be computered from this chart. Be sure to multiply the semimonthly amount by the actual number of paychecks you received at each rate. Union dues may be tax deductible, subject to certain limitations. For further information, please consult your tax professional.

Day to Day Per Diems and Per Session Employees
Dues for per diem teachers, per diem secretaries and per session employees shall be set at .85 of one percent of earnings, plus the monthly AFT and NYSUT pass-through of $10.47 not to exceed half the dues of teachers on the regular payroll.
