Anyone, regardless of race, education, or career can struggle with mental illness and addiction. To help shatter the stigmas and stereotypes around these conditions, the UFT Member Assistance Program has partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI NYC).

Join two trained volunteers who are living with serious mental health conditions, for a unique, one-hour virtual session about their experiences with mental illness and recovery.

Why you should attend:

  • Hear from trained volunteers about their personal experiences with mental health and recovery.
  • Engage with presenters by asking questions.
  • Share your own experiences.
  • Learn about available mental health resources.
  • Gain insight from those who have experienced mental health and addiction to help reduce stigma.
