- Verify your email address (look for an email in your inbox, if you do not see it check your spam folder or call the UFT at 212-701-9690 for assistance.
- Select Enroll in the Union and finalize the process.
If you prefer to enroll by mail, please print, fill out and mail in one of our membership forms for paraprofessionals or for other DOE members including teachers.
Are you eligible to join?
You can enroll in the UFT if you are a New York City Department of Education pedagogue, paraprofessional, hourly group or retiree.
All other professionals covered by a UFT collective-bargaining agreement should contact the UFT Membership Department at 212-701-9690 for further information on how to enroll in the union.
