Jo Reaser, Age 73

Jo Reaser was a teacher for over 40 years. Before moving to New York City, she taught in Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Jo was a UFT member for 19 years, most recently working as a special education teacher at PS 108 in Manhattan.

She was also a hand quilter known for her perfect stitching. After she retired, she was involved in the intermediate quilting class at the Bronx UFT Retiree Center.

Jo is survived by her brothers James, William and Robert; her son Joshua; and her grandchildren Amy and Nicholas.
