UFT media advisory for Thursday, Sept. 8
The UFT is launching a September radio ad campaign welcoming students and staff back to school and pledging to keep fighting for the funding New York City schools need.
The spot, titled “See You in September,” calls on New York City educators, parents, and community members to keep up the fight to restore city budget cuts and to get small class size legislation signed into law.
The 60-second ad will be heard on local stations including WBLS FM, WINS AM, WCBS (AM/FM), WLTW FM, WAXQ FM, as well as digital streaming outlets. The radio ad will run for 10 days through Sept. 18 and is expected to have more than 1.8 million listens.
The radio spot was produced by Andi Johnson, a partner in the media division of GPS Impact. Listen to the ad here.
