Relationship Patterns: Identifying Healthy vs non-Healthy Relationship Dynamics
You know the importance of continuing education and staying up-to-date on the latest wellness and therapeutic techniques. That's why the UFT Member Assistance Program invites you to join our upcoming professional development workshops this spring.
This workshop will discuss the components of relationship patterns and identify the five types of relationship abuse versus healthy relationship behaviors. Members will learn about the cycle of abuse, power and control wheels and learn how to identify signs of abuse. The presentation will also discuss how to engage and support those that are struggling with post-traumatic stress from abusive relationships and ways to de-escalate distress and enhance a sense of safety and stability. Information will also be provided on how to refer members for additional help and support.
The cost to attend this workshop is $25. Participants will receive two CE credits by completing this workshop.
