UFT Elections 2025

The UFT will be holding elections for president and other officers, executive board members and convention delegates this spring. 

All the positions are three-year terms, effective July 1, 2025. All balloting will be conducted by the independent Global Election Services. 

Important dates & deadlines

• Feb. 12: nominating petitions will be available at UFT central and borough offices, and on the UFT website
• Mar. 17: deadline for receipt of nominations
• May 1: ballots will be mailed to members' addresses on file with UFT
• May 29: ballots will be counted
