That's why the UFT Member Assistance Program invites you to join our upcoming professional development workshops this spring. This workshop equips mental health professionals with tools to help clients identify emotional eating patterns and develop healthier coping mechanisms. Participants will learn assessment techniques, cognitive-behavioral strategies and mindfulness-based approaches to guide clients in managing emotional eating effectively.

UFT members enrolled in the BERS pension plan now have the option to switch to the TRS plan. The UFT Pension Department is holding in-person information sessions in all five boroughs to guide you through the decision-making and transfer process.

At this clinic for UFT Manhattan members in Tier 6 of the Teachers' Retirement System, we'll talk about pension milestones, how to calculate your reimbursement for unused CAR days when you retire, final average salary and more.

Teachers and paraprofessionals are invited to register for a workshop on Apple's Pages app. Learn how to create accessible materials for multilingual students and their families. Educators will walk away with the skills to assemble creative classroom newsletters and infographics in multiple languages using the Pages app. Attendees will earn one hour of CTLE credit in the ELL category for each session.
