Anthony Pollice, Age 85

Anthony Pollice, known to many as Frank, was a social studies teacher at JHS 115 and JHS 143 in Washington Heights for 34 years.

After retiring in 1990, he became a coordinator for Retired Teachers of Rockland and Westchester for the UFT for 25 years. He was active with the union, attending conventions, participating in phone banks and marches, lobbying and more.

Anthony enjoyed traveling, trivia, playing Jai Alai, attending Broadway shows and making people laugh. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joanne, and his daughter Laura.
