On Aug. 10, 2020, the DOE released the results of the blended learning survey, which indicate that 74% of New York City students have opted to participate in blended learning.

In response, UFT President Michael Mulgrew issued the following statement: 

This is one step in the process of figuring out if schools reopen how to do it safely. We have a long way to go. Many questions about safety and about blended learning are still unanswered.
