Medicare B 2022 IRMAA reimbursements are scheduled to be issued by October 2023. Those retirees who are eligible for the IRMAA reimbursement must submit the IRMAA 2022 application along with the required supporting documents. Not all retirees are eligible. IRMAA eligibility is determined based on a retiree’s Modified Adjusted Gross Income and filing status.

New York City’s Health Benefits Program will begin to process the 2022 IRMAA applications soon. You can download a copy of the 2022 IRMAA Medicare B application in the NYC Health Benefits Program section of the city’s Office of Labor Relations website.
