Use these resources to support your child care program
The following email was sent to child care providers on May 21 by UFT Family Child Care Providers Chapter Chair Tammie Miller.
I hope this email finds you and your family safe and healthy. I wanted to update you about the support available to your child care program through the extension of waivers and the CARES materials grant.
Good news regarding your subsidy payments
The state Office of Children and Family Services approved several waivers to New York City to provide support for families receiving child care assistance as well as providers and agencies providing child care services.
We are pleased to inform you that to provide financial stability for licensed/registered family child care providers, OCFS extended all four waivers for an additional 30 days through June 13, 2020.
