As a state-approved provider of Continuing Education hours for Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Psychologists and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), the LearnUFT program offers low-cost professional learning opportunities specifically designed to meet our members’ needs. This workshop will offer strategies for identifying countertransference, compassion fatigue, burnout and self-care planning. Participants will engage in reflective and experiential exercises to increase awareness of such stressors in their professional lives.

This workshop explores practical strategies for managing cognitive load, sustaining focus, and aligning personal energy with professional demands. Participants will examine the relationship between executive function, emotional regulation, and burnout prevention, gaining tools for sustainable productivity and self-trust.

Social workers and psychologists are invited to a meeting of their UFT chapter. We'll provide updates on issues of importance to our chapter and to the union as a whole. You'll also have an opportunity to get your questions answered and raise issues. Registration is required.
