That's why the UFT Member Assistance Program invites you to join our upcoming professional development workshops this spring. As science advances, we learn more and more about the connection between the integrity of our digestive system on mood and mental health. These are important to understand as clinicians working with our students. The food we eat and how we feel has an effect on our minds and choices. Dr. Pina LoGiudice, ND, LAc will discuss the digestive system, leaky gut and the microbiome and its impacts on our brain.

All child care providers must be proficient and certified in CPR, first aid and the use of automated external defibrillators. We offer a four-hour class in these areas to help meet the needs of licensed, registered and legally exempt (informal) providers. Participants who complete the class will receive a certificate of completion and a certification card indicating proficiency in these life-saving skills.
