We're inviting all paraprofessionals, school nurses, school counselors, occupational and physical therapists, school secretaries, school psychologists, school social workers, and all SRPs who work in Manhattan to join us for hors d'oeuvres, music, dancing and raffles.

Register to attend a special meet‑and‑greet for Queens school secretaries. Participants will receive updates on issues affecting the chapter, union and the city's school system. 

Register for a professional development workshop for social workers and psychologists. Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children is becoming more prevalent. This lecture will address some underlying causes of ADHD and offer some alternative solutions to optimize children’s health. We will also discuss effective ways to offer suggestions to educators for working with their students. Participants will earn 2 CE hours upon completion of the course. After the course is attended in full and the evaluation is complete, a signed certificate of completion will be emailed participants.

Celebrate the holidays by creating fun and festive GIFs with Keynote on your iPad! In this workshop, you'll learn how to use Keynote's basic tools to design simple, animated GIFs that students can customize and share. We'll cover how to combine shapes, images and simple transitions to create engaging holiday-themed GIFs. Perfect for adding a creative touch to your holiday lessons - no design experience needed, just an iPad and a festive spirit!
