This is my 'request a selfie' station. Students, when they’re proud of their work in any subject — it can be writing, math, a block tower, anything, take the popsicle stick from the wall to their table. Once I see it there, I take a picture of them and their work and send it to their grown-up. It keeps an open line of communication between students and families, and it increases students’ motivation to take ownership of their own learning.
