Why is the Teachers’ Retirement System divesting from fossil fuel companies? This devastating gesture is an attempt to forward the theory of climate change at the expense of the pension funds.

You were not voted into office to play politics with the funds. Have you queried the rank and file? You are setting a dangerous precedent by fostering political ideology over sound fiscal policy. I hope before you make what will be a catastrophic decision that you will poll the rank and file.
