In response to a Facebook post about Paraprofessional Appreciation Day: 

Without a good paraprofessional in your room, it is nearly impossible to teach. I am hoping they are finally going to be able to get the monetary recognition they need and deserve. It’s great to be thankful and to recognize people for what they have done, but it’s much more important for those who love their profession and are good at it to be able to earn the money they deserve to live.
