A Memorial Sloan Kettering physician gave more than 70 UFT members and retirees tips on reducing their chance to get breast cancer and what to do if diagnosed with the disease. At a Dec. 11 seminar at UFT headquarters in Manhattan, Dr. Neil Iyengar also told of a powerful diagnostic test available at Memorial Sloan Kettering called MSK-IMPACT, which helps guide treatment. “This is my second year attending Dr. Iyengar’s talk,” said Esther Liss-Turner, a UFT retiree. “He had so much new information to share since his presentation from last year. He is so informative and dedicated to his work.”
