I set up my own mini classroom at home because I wanted the students to see what they are familiar with at school and also because it’s the setting where I feel most comfortable teaching. When I’m taping myself doing my mini lessons or going live with my class, the more comfortable I am the easier it is to teach what I want the students to learn. Every time I go live with them and they see everything in the background, they ask me if I’m at school. Keeping as much normality as possible around my teaching is what is keeping me sane during this crisis.
