UFT radio campaign opens new school year
The UFT is welcoming students and teachers back to New York City’s public school this fall with a radio campaign highlighting recent public school successes, including higher graduation rates and increasing social services for children.
Describing these accomplishments, UFT President Michael Mulgrew says in the spot: “When we come together and make our voices heard, we can do great things.”
The campaign is scheduled to open Sept. 3, 2019 and will run for seven days. The 60-second ad is expected to reach approximately 3 million adult listeners.
The spots can be heard on stations including WLTW 106.7 FM, WBLS 107.5 FM, WCBS 101.1FM, WINS 98.9FM, WAXQ 104.3 FM, WWPR 105.1 FM, WINS 1010 AM, and WCBS 880 AM.
