WHEREAS, school-related professionals play an integral role supporting our students and keeping our schools running smoothly; and

WHEREAS, in the past 20 months our school-related professionals have worked harder than ever to meet shifting needs and responsibilities under unfamiliar and difficult circumstances; and

WHEREAS, our most vulnerable students depend on the support of our school-related professionals as they continue to weather this trying time in their lives; and

WHEREAS, New York SRP recognition day was on November 16, 2021; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the UFT take a moment to recognize our outstanding school related professionals and to pay tribute to them for their important contributions to the New York City school system and to the United Federation of Teachers.
